Role overview
As a member of the sales controlling team, you will focus on examining, structuring, and presenting data in a way that supports sound decisions for sales leadership and management. Your work will help improve sales performance and contribute to the ongoing development of product and tariff offerings. The role involves working with modern analytics and data management solutions such as Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop, ChatGPT Pro, and Databricks.
Key responsibilities
- Review and evaluate sales, customer, and market data to support day-to-day and strategic decision-making.
- Create clear reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses that turn data into actionable insights.
- Help improve existing KPI, reporting, and analysis frameworks to strengthen sales steering.
- Spot patterns, deviations, and opportunities in data relevant to sales activities.
- Calculate electricity and gas tariffs and maintain them in internal sales systems.
- Handle administrative tasks connected to sales, tariff, and data workflows.
Profile and requirements
- Completed university studies in economics, business informatics, or a similar commercial qualification with a strong data focus.
- Excellent German language skills, written and spoken, at least C1 level under the CEFR.
- Very strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau (Prep and Desktop) or similar BI tools.
- Experience working with databases and an understanding of structured data models.
- Strong analytical thinking and enjoyment of working with complex data structures.
- Ability to present complex topics clearly and tailor visualizations to different audiences.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and able to work in a structured, solution-oriented manner.
