Role Overview

The Talbot in Brockley is seeking a dependable Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys keeping things clean, orderly, and efficient in a fast-moving food service environment.

What You’ll Do

You will assist the chefs during service, handle washing up, keep kitchen and back-of-house areas tidy, support with deliveries, and help maintain high hygiene standards throughout the shift.

What They’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be punctual, dependable, and ready to work hard with a positive attitude. You should be comfortable working as part of a team in a busy kitchen and take pride in keeping work areas clean and organised. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and peak service periods is important. Prior kitchen experience is useful but not required; a strong work ethic and willingness to help are the main priorities.
