Lead - Stores - Site

About the Role

The Lead – Stores – Site is responsible for overseeing end-to-end site-level stores operations, including material receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory control, and documentation. The role ensures materials are available on time, properly recorded, and securely managed in line with project requirements and company policies. The incumbent plays a key role in supporting project execution through efficient inventory management, process compliance, and system accuracy while minimizing wastage and pilferage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of all materials at the site store, ensuring adherence to quality and quantity specifications.
• Collaborate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely inbound delivery of materials and verify against purchase orders.
• Facilitate the issuance of materials to site teams based on approved indents and maintain precise records in ERP or store ledger systems.
• Monitor and maintain minimum and reorder stock levels to guarantee continuous material availability through proactive planning and replenishment.
• Perform routine physical stock counts, investigate any variances, and generate comprehensive reconciliation reports.
• Ensure meticulous documentation and tagging for all material movements, including the preparation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
