Role Overview

The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering learning programs that are effective, engaging, and scalable across Lendi Group. Reporting to the Learning & Capability Delivery Team Lead, this role helps strengthen capability across operations, customer, product, and distribution functions.

The role places strong emphasis on innovation, learner experience, and practicality, while ensuring programs stay aligned with business goals, company values, and compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted partnerships with stakeholders across the organisation, working closely with Learning & Capability, Operations, and related teams to deliver strong learning outcomes.
  • Design, build, and run learning programs in both virtual and in-person formats, including session plans, eLearning content, videos, assessments, and supporting resources.
  • Adapt learning solutions to match learner needs, business priorities, and operational realities so that training is useful, easy to access, and focused on results.
  • Present complex ideas in a clear way and help create a supportive, inclusive, and psychologically safe learning space.
  • Use learning platforms, data, and learner feedback to measure impact, strengthen training quality, and improve the overall learning experience.
  • Support required compliance, risk, and mandatory training, making sure all materials are accurate, up to date, properly maintained, and ready for audit.
  • Bring creative methods into learning design, such as microlearning, gamification, video, and new technologies, to drive participation and retention.
  • Keep learning assets high quality, aligned to the brand, accessible, commercially sensible, and delivered within agreed deadlines.
  • Work with tools including Articulate, Vyond, Biteable, Venngage, LMS platforms, MS Suite, Confluence, Jira, and Slack to create and manage learning content.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Confident facilitation abilities across both live and virtual learning settings.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying learning needs and turning them into practical, engaging solutions.
  • Background in designing, developing, and delivering a variety of learning content in both digital and facilitated formats.
  • Ability to use insights, feedback, and data to improve training effectiveness and learner results.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across teams.
  • Comfortable with learning design tools, digital content platforms, and changing systems, with a strong interest in technology.
  • Well organised, adaptable, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
