Logistics Supervisor

Job Overview

The Logistics Supervisor will direct day-to-day logistics activities, covering transportation, stock coordination, and warehouse operations. The role involves guiding a team, keeping supply chain workflows running smoothly, and working closely with both internal teams and outside partners to ensure goods are delivered on time and at the right cost. Qualifications

• A bachelor’s qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• Applicants should bring 4 to 6 years of experience in logistics or supply chain functions, including supervisory exposure.
• Solid understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain concepts is necessary.
• Hands-on experience handling inbound and outbound shipments, as well as coordinating with carriers and freight forwarders, is required.
• Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse activities is needed.
• Knowledge of customs clearance processes is mandatory.
• Working ability with logistics software and Microsoft Office tools is expected.
• Strong capability in leading teams and managing people is important.
• Good communication and coordination skills are essential.
• A proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to manage operational issues and work to deadlines is required.
