Role overview
Equity LifeStyle Properties is looking to add a Maintenance Worker at its East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania location. This position supports the community by carrying out a broad mix of upkeep and repair tasks to help maintain a high-quality environment.
What you will handle
- Carry out light appliance fixes along with small plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and janitorial tasks.
- Keep amenity areas in good working order and presentable at all times.
- Maintain the grounds so they remain clean and free from litter and debris.
- Partner with management to keep the property clean, safe, and attractive.
- Join morning team meetings to review vendor visits and the day’s required work.
- Coordinate in a professional manner with maintenance staff, management, and other employees, especially on special projects.
- Escalate maintenance issues to management and complete needed repairs.
- Move heavy items when required and may operate maintenance vehicles to different areas of the property.
- Track maintenance stock, tools, and supplies.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Skills and experience needed
- A valid driver’s license is required, along with a clean driving history and current auto coverage.
- High school completion or comparable experience is expected.
- You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around heavy equipment.
- Availability for after-hours emergency calls is necessary.
