Master Data Specialist (100%)

Position overview

Belimo is looking for a committed Master Data Specialist to join the Großröhrsdorf team, located about 30 minutes from Dresden. This role offers a varied scope within master data management, where you will take ownership of production and master data and contribute to international initiatives. You will work in a dynamic setting where your input directly supports operational processes and collaboration across the supply chain.

Key duties

• Create, maintain, and manage material master data in SAP, including item records, bills of materials, and routings as part of material setup processes.
• Handle engineering changes and coordinate change-related cases globally across the supply chain.
• Run cost calculation cycles for single-piece costs in SAP.
• Control and coordinate material deletions, stock adjustments, and liquidations on a global basis.
• Monitor the product lifecycle and maintain the status network at plant level for all material master records in the regional customizing centers.
• Contribute to supply chain topics in projects and, in some cases, take over the functional coordination, while also supporting global teams.
• Support global master data management through cross-functional cooperation, handling Q-cases, and preparing and delivering training sessions for internal partners.

Profile and requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required, ideally with a focus on data, analytics such as data science or data analytics, or business administration.
• You should bring several years of relevant experience in production planning or work planning as well as in master data maintenance.
• Experience in project management and the ability to coordinate projects independently are expected.
• Strong SAP knowledge is important, especially in the MM and PP modules.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills are required.
• You should work in a structured, analytical, accurate, efficient, and goal-oriented manner.
• A friendly, communicative, and team-focused personality is preferred.
