Role overview
Dyno Nobel is seeking an experienced MPU Operator to join its onsite Western Australia team. This role is suited to someone confident operating Mobile Processing Units and committed to safe, high-quality blasting support. The position offers a base salary of $97,115 to $132,963, plus superannuation and additional benefits.
The work arrangement is DIDO from Darwin on an 8:6 roster, with the commute taking approximately 1.5 hours.
The company works with leading blasting technologies, including Delta∆E differential energy bulk products, Electronic Detonators, and DigiShot®Plus.4G.
What the role involves
- Operating MPU vehicles to deliver emulsion-based explosives for blasting activities on site.
- Carrying out pre-start checks and weekly asset inspections.
- Supporting preventative maintenance and diagnosing issues when troubleshooting is needed.
- Assisting with explosive-related tasks and site activities.
- Sharing practical knowledge with clients and crew members.
- Maintaining strong working relationships with customers.
- Representing the business with a professional approach at all times.
What you need to bring
- Proven experience operating Mobile Processing Units.
- Strong commitment to a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
- HR licence with manual synchromesh capability.
- National Police Clearance.
- Dangerous Goods Security Card.
- Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence.
