Operations Assistant (m/f/d)

About the role

COSCO SHIPPING Bulk (Europe) GmbH is building out a new project in bulk shipping and port operations, with an emphasis on European ports. The position is designed to support the day-to-day running of this developing setup and will evolve as the project grows.

What you will do

• Assist with operational work connected to the bulk shipping and port terminal logistics project.
• Coordinate with internal departments, port authorities, external vendors, and other involved parties.
• Help organize and carry out operational procedures.
• Support the improvement and refinement of workflows and operating processes.
• Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and handle routine operational tasks.

What we are looking for

• Background in port terminal operations and/or logistics in the bulk shipping sector is strongly preferred.
• Fluent Spanish is necessary for communication with local stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of English is required.
• Willingness to travel, primarily within Europe.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving project environment where priorities may change.
• A practical, proactive, and solution-focused approach to work.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Hamburg, Germany. The opportunity is part of a growing project, so the exact scope of tasks is expected to develop over time. No salary, stipend, opening count, start date, or application deadline were specified.
