About the company
Asseti is a platform built around asset intelligence and operations, helping major real estate owners make sense of their assets, improve portfolio performance, and make smarter choices around operations, maintenance, and capital planning.
The product brings scattered asset information into one clear system of record, pairing live condition visibility with operational context so teams can decide what matters most, manage risk, and act efficiently across large property portfolios.
Asseti supports large-scale asset operations by automating condition detection, issue triage, repair prioritization, and cost forecasting. The goal is to help teams spot problems early, understand business impact, coordinate action, and track improvements in one unified environment.
The company is building the operational and intelligence layer that enables leading organizations to manage assets with greater clarity, consistency, and confidence.
Role overview
Asseti is hiring an Operations Manager to own the day-to-day workflow that ensures data is ordered, captured, processed, and delivered to enterprise customers. The role sits in the delivery function and reports to the Delivery Lead, while working closely with the data processing and platform engineering teams.
This is a hands-on execution role focused on keeping the delivery engine running smoothly and continuously reducing manual effort. You are expected to notice when work is off track, raise issues with a clear path to resolution, and improve processes at the right level of speed and complexity. A practical solution shipped now is valued more than a perfect one delayed for weeks.
AI is expected to be part of your daily toolkit, used pragmatically to close gaps, draft SOPs, and create lightweight automations that remove repetitive work from the pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the complete order flow from submission to processed delivery, including setup, tracking, quality review, and transfer to the data processing team, with a 24-hour order creation SLA as the minimum standard.
- Watch order queues and delivery pipelines closely, identify blockers early, resolve what can be fixed, and escalate the rest to the Delivery Lead when needed.
- Own quality assurance for survey data entering the processing pipeline, applying practical repeatable checks that work today and improving them over time.
- Partner with processing and engineering teams to understand what high-quality data looks like, where failures usually happen, and which upstream steps reduce rework.
- Coordinate external drone pilots and ground inspection contractors by confirming schedules, fixing boundary errors and access issues, and making sure work is captured correctly on the first attempt.
- Manage contractors against agreed scope, pricing, and performance standards, and ensure vendors are held accountable to those expectations.
- Keep Customer Success and account managers updated with accurate delivery status, and flag account risk proactively before clients experience issues.
- Use AI tools such as Claude and Cursor to prototype process improvements, write SOPs, review operational data, and build small automations that remove manual steps.
- Continuously look for opportunities to standardize and systematize work so each improvement builds on the last.
- Track core operational metrics, including order cycle time, QA pass rate, collection SLA adherence, and cost per site, in collaboration with the BizOps team.
- Produce clear, concise outputs from process work and analysis.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in operations, field service coordination, or another execution-heavy delivery role.
- A strong action orientation, with a habit of moving work forward independently, following through fully, and closing loops reliably.
- Working comfort with AI tools such as Claude or Cursor, using them to improve speed and effectiveness rather than to generate output for its own sake.
- A systems-thinking approach that focuses on workflows and feedback loops rather than isolated fixes, with an eye toward preventing repeat issues.
- Clear, direct communication skills, including the ability to raise problems early, write concise actionable updates, and handle direct conversations with clients and contractors when needed.
- Experience working with technical or data teams and understanding how to provide clean, useful handoffs that make their work easier.
- The ability to manage a high-volume delivery operation spread across multiple geographies without letting work slip.
- Bonus: direct exposure to drone operations or geospatial data capture, including running programs, coordinating pilots, or managing capture workflows.
- Bonus: familiarity with commercial real estate, facilities management, or similar asset-intensive sectors.
- Bonus: experience with field service management tools, order management systems, or spatial tools such as QGIS and ArcGIS.
- Bonus: contractor or vendor coordination in a field-based or distributed setting.
- Bonus: experience in a growth-stage SaaS company.
Benefits
- Full ownership of the field operations systems, automations, and tools that support the broader operations function.
- High autonomy with direct access to leadership.
- The opportunity to help define and build an operations function from the ground up using a modern AI-first toolkit.
- Competitive compensation.
- Equity participation.
- Growth potential as the company scales.
