Role overview

This position is responsible for keeping transfer-unit operations running smoothly on a day-to-day basis, ensuring customers and business users are supported effectively and that work is completed within the bank’s policies, procedures, service-level agreements, and agreed timelines.

The role also helps safeguard the bank by ensuring all required source documents, legally enforceable charge documents, and securities are properly maintained and tracked through follow-up systems for routine actions.

Core accountabilities

  • Carry out assigned duties fully and on time, while adhering to all defined controls, procedures, and policy requirements.
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
  • Coordinate property transfer and registration activities with ADIB customers and the sales team, including arranging appointments with the land department.
  • Handle mortgage processing for government housing programs such as ADHA and SZHP.
  • Ensure registration appointments confirmed to sales teams and customers are followed through for the relevant land department.
  • Escalate process issues promptly to the line manager for timely resolution.
  • Review cases from booking through mortgage perfection and ensure tasks are completed within the functional framework, including follow-up on pending items.
  • Support the manager in developing, updating, and implementing SOPs to strengthen department controls.
  • Visit banks to process buyout payments and collect supporting documents.
  • Maintain case-tracking MIS records across the relevant emirates.
  • Apply end-to-end knowledge of the home finance process, from login to disbursement.
  • Process mortgage and transfer cases strictly in line with policy guidelines.
  • Complete file conversion from Advance to Ijara within the agreed turnaround time.

Knowledge and technical requirements

  • Strong understanding of bank policies and product knowledge.
  • Good grasp of Islamic banking products.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
