Job overview

This full-time, non-exempt hourly role is for a Packer based in Seattle, WA. The position reports to the Production Manager in Seattle and follows a weekend schedule from Friday through Monday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Core duties

Accurately measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
Check containers, raw materials, and finished items to confirm that packing standards are being met.
Keep all required documentation together with the related materials.
Log product, packaging, and order details on the appropriate forms and records.
Seal containers and materials with stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging supplies.
Build, line, and cushion cartons, crates, and containers with hand tools.
Clean containers, materials, supplies, and work areas using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
Carry out supervisor instructions and specific assigned tasks as needed.
Protect part quality after processing by checking for damage, scratches, or other issues.
Visually verify that each process has been completed correctly.
Take on additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required.
No prior work experience is necessary.

The pay range for this role is $21.30 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Work environment
