About the role
BDO Solutions is hiring a Payroll Analyst to support its global payroll outsourcing operations in Moka, Mauritius. This role sits at the centre of payroll coordination, working with multiple stakeholders to keep processes moving smoothly and to resolve concerns quickly when they arise. You will be the key contact for communication throughout the payroll process, helping ensure accurate, timely delivery and a high standard of service.
Key responsibilities
- Track daily project deliverables closely and make sure each task is completed within the required timeline.
- Check incoming and outgoing data carefully to confirm it is accurate and complete.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with the relevant parties, escalating issues where needed to protect on-time delivery.
- Review information before it is released to ensure the final output is correct.
- Take part in project meetings and contribute to a consistently strong customer experience.
- Keep assignments progressing on schedule and see them through to completion.
- Prepare and update project status reports as well as SLA and KPI tracking reports.
- Raise matters to the reporting line whenever escalation is necessary.
- Maintain detailed issue logs and keep them current.
- Follow all risk and compliance requirements in line with company standards and client expectations.
- Comply with GDPR and the Data Protection Act at all times.
- Carry out other process-related tasks as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have solid written and spoken English communication, a strong sense of ownership, and a service-oriented mindset. You should be comfortable working on your own as well as collaborating with a team, and be able to handle data, reporting, and issue resolution with care and accuracy.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum qualification: Higher School Certificate (HSC).
- 0 to 1 year of experience in global payroll, or experience supporting international clients, would be an added advantage.
Working arrangement and requirements
- Willingness to work UK hours, specifically 12:00 to 20:30 during the UK summer period.
- Ability to work overtime when business needs require it.
