About the Role

The Portfolio Operations Manager will be responsible for handling legal paperwork, safeguarding collateral, and coordinating compliance tasks after loans are closed across the venture lending portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loan amendments, waivers, and other required legal documents.
• Ensure custody procedures are followed for collateral items such as stock certificates and warrants.
• Handle UCC-related filings and support lien perfection activities.
• Review documentation carefully to ensure files are complete and audit-ready.
• Work closely with investment, legal, and accounting teams on portfolio-related matters.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in loan operations or collateral custody, ideally within a BDC or private credit organization.
• Solid organizational ability and strong command of legal documentation processes.
• Practical experience in collateral handling and UCC filing work.
• Highly detail-focused and able to juggle several deadlines in a busy environment.
