Overview
Aston Martin F1 Team is seeking a proactive, highly organised and confident Press Officer to join its Communications and Media function in Silverstone. The position sits in a fast-moving Formula One setting and focuses on delivering high-quality media activity, supporting the Press Office both at events and at the AMR Technology Campus, and producing communications that enhance brand reputation and engagement with fans, media and commercial partners.
You will work closely with senior communications leaders, drivers, management and external stakeholders to help deliver a polished, responsive and globally respected media operation across the season.

Key responsibilities
- Help deliver daily media activity, long-term communications projects, spokesperson programmes and broader PR initiatives.
- Support media operations at selected Formula One race events and tests, including coordination of driver, management and spokesperson commitments.
- Take ownership of the on-site media programme for Formula One driver talent at selected race weekends.
- Run the day-to-day Press Office activity at track and at the AMR Technology Campus, covering media calendars, press enquiries, briefing packs and press release circulation.
- Prepare and maintain media schedules for race weekends, tests, factory activity and national or international events.
- Draft, edit and distribute polished communications materials such as media releases, briefing notes and external media messages.
- Support the planning and execution of media strategies for Driver Squad and Driver Academy activity.
- Deliver concise and effective media briefings for drivers, Driver Squad members and other spokespeople.
- Develop strong working relationships with journalists, broadcasters, local race organisers, talent teams and key paddock contacts.
- Coordinate hosted media visits and outreach at the AMR Technology Campus, including filming crews, access, schedules and logistics.
- Track Formula One coverage, industry developments and wider news flow to spot risks and opportunities for the team.
- Work with the Research and Insights team to plan, produce and review regular media reporting throughout the season.
- Contribute to major communications initiatives such as car launches, documentary integrations, media partnerships and long-form content projects.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Communications and Media team, including meeting packs, document control and diary coordination.
- Remain adaptable and assist with additional communications projects as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in Formula One, motorsport, elite sport, a major brand or another high-pressure communications setting is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of media relations, storytelling, news cycles and the workings of a busy press office.
- Strong writing and editing capability, with the ability to produce accurate, engaging and brand-consistent content under pressure.
- Ability to manage several priorities, stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-changing environment.
- Professional, confident communication style with the ability to build effective relationships across media, talent, colleagues and external partners.
- Composed, resilient and decisive under pressure, with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and comfort handling schedules, logistics and media activity across multiple locations.
- Creative, self-driven and enthusiastic, with the ability to move ideas from concept to delivery.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel internationally, including weekends and race events.
- A full driving licence is required.
