Programme Coordination Expert

About the Role

The United Nations Office at Nairobi is seeking a Programme Coordination Expert to provide critical support for project management, financial administration, and overall monitoring of core activities within the Durable Solutions Programmes and Projects. This role is essential for enhancing the visibility and effectiveness of the Durable Solutions Portfolio for the Somalia Programme.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the implementation of core activities across various Durable Solutions Programmes and Projects.
• Ensure sound financial management and administration for all programme-related activities.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and intervention.
• Contribute to the strategic profiling and enhancement of the Durable Solutions Portfolio within the Somalia Programme.
• Provide comprehensive support to ensure the successful execution of programme objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management, with a focus on financial and administrative oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and monitor complex programmes and projects.
• Experience working within international organizations or UN-related entities is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
