About Tate

Tate is an independent brand within Kingspan Group and has built a global reputation over more than 60 years for designing and manufacturing data centre infrastructure solutions and raised access floors for commercial offices. With revenue exceeding $500 million and continued growth, the company partners closely with clients and is known for engineering-led, forward-looking solutions.

The business operates 12 manufacturing facilities across the US, Europe, and Australia. Its team is described as energetic, diverse, and innovation-focused, supported by ongoing investment in manufacturing equipment and tools to maintain high standards. Tate’s sustainability approach, called Planet Passionate, is aimed at advancing a net zero emissions future for the built environment while keeping people and the planet central to its goals.

Role Overview

The Project Coordinator is an important part of Tate Europe’s project management function, helping ensure that work is planned, organised, and delivered smoothly. The role brings together coordination, communication, and follow-through across teams and stakeholders so projects stay on track and deadlines are met.

This position also supports the introduction of process improvements and standard operating procedures to reduce errors, improve efficiency, and strengthen consistency across project workflows. Strong problem-solving ability, clear communication, and familiarity with SAP are key to succeeding in the role.

The role involves close internal coordination across departments to help maintain stock levels, support delivery commitments, and work with finance to ensure compliance. It also focuses on keeping customer interactions smooth and resolving issues quickly within the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer relationships from start to finish, taking ownership and showing initiative to deliver strong outcomes.

Track important dates and coordinate each contract with operations and production teams, ensuring relevant groups are informed about any changes.

Prepare and review reports, data, and analysis covering dispatch, stock availability, procurement, and production.

Serve as the main contact for customer questions, order updates, and concerns connected to manufactured products.

Support strategic work such as sourcing new suppliers, long-range forecasting, Power BI reporting, margin analysis, contingency planning, process improvement, supplier engagement, complaint analysis, target setting, and the use of planning tools and techniques.

Drive the rollout of standard operating procedures to make project processes more consistent and efficient.

Carry out root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of project or operational issues.

Promote proven best practices across the team to strengthen delivery and workflow quality.

Work closely with colleagues to maintain strong communication and coordination throughout project activity.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

A degree in business or a closely related discipline is required.

Applicants should bring solid, stable experience in project administration or coordination; experience in a construction or manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

The role calls for a strong sense of initiative, the ability to think ahead, and effective prioritisation when circumstances change.

Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system, along with Excel and forecasting tools, is needed.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to handle complex discussions with customers and stakeholders.
