Regulatory Document Proofreader

Overview

This is a part-time proofreading and formatting role focused on regulatory application content. The work calls for at least 5 years of relevant experience and strong hands-on ability with EndNote and SharePoint. Experience with Starting Point or similar formatting rulers and tools such as Global Summit is preferred.

Work Schedule

The expected workload is around 20 hours per week on average. Depending on the amount of work available, hours may increase to as much as 30 hours per week.

Core Work

The role centers on reviewing regulatory application sections for consistency, language quality, and formatting compliance. It also includes converting reference articles into a publishable structure and preparing science documents to meet journal submission standards.

Proofreading Scope

• Check narrative flow and ensure the content remains internally consistent.
• Review grammar, spelling, punctuation, and related language issues.
• Make sure documents follow the client’s style guides and editorial standards.

Formatting Responsibilities

• Apply electronic software formatting to regulatory application sections.
• Convert reference material into a submission-ready format.
• Support document preparation for manuscripts intended for journal submission.

Preferred Background

A background in training, formatting science-related documents, and working with manuscript submission requirements will be helpful in this position.
