Senior .NET Developer

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior .NET Developer to join a technical delivery team in Magarpatta City, Pune. This role is based onsite with minimal travel and is suited for a versatile engineer who can contribute to client-focused software delivery while working within a collaborative consulting environment.

What You Will Do

You will design, build, and maintain reliable software products using .NET technologies and work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to turn business needs into practical technical solutions. The role also involves technical leadership, guiding delivery quality, and helping ensure successful execution across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and enhance scalable software applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks.
• Plan and build secure, efficient database structures with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Work with MongoDB, SQL Server, and other relational database systems as needed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to interpret requirements and convert them into implementable solutions.
• Own work across the SDLC, including planning, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Support and mentor junior developers by sharing technical guidance and best practices.
• Review code, uphold standards, and suggest process enhancements that improve delivery quality.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve complex issues to keep applications stable and performant.
• Stay current with new technologies, tools, frameworks, and industry practices.
• Contribute to internal process improvement and stronger delivery practices.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on exposure to .NET full-stack development. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

You should be comfortable working with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks or libraries like Angular, React, or Vue.js. Strong database design and tuning experience is important, especially with MongoDB and other relational systems.

Experience with Agile/Scrum ways of working, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and CI/CD or other DevOps practices will be an added advantage. The role also calls for strong problem-solving ability, clear communication, effective teamwork, and the confidence to lead projects and mentor others.
