Senior Perfumer

Overview

Senses International Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Perfumer to strengthen its fragrance development team in Singapore. This role focuses on cross-category fragrance creation and re-creation, with close collaboration across evaluation, sales, marketing, and quality functions.

Requirements

• You should bring at least 7 years of professional experience in cross-category fragrance innovation and fragrance re-creation.
• Strong ability to read and translate GCMS data into market-ready fragrance formulas is essential.
• You need excellent olfactory judgement and solid technical understanding of perfumery.
• Experience working in a fast-moving fragrance development setting is expected.
• Good communication and confident presentation skills are important.
• You should be energetic, passionate, and comfortable working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop fragrances that meet project goals and delivery timelines.
• Refine or reformulate fragrances based on customer briefs, internal standards, and raw material shortages.
• Join customer visits alongside the sales and marketing teams to support discussions and presentations when needed.
• Recommend raw materials based on technical performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability factors.
• Take part in fragrance and raw material evaluation panels.
• Support resolution of QC-related issues whenever required.
• Collaborate closely with other perfumers, evaluators, sales, and marketing colleagues.

This is an additional hiring requirement for the team. The role is based onsite in Singapore.
