Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Baladna Food Industries, a prominent player in the food and beverage industry, is expanding its commercial operations and is hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor for its Commercial Management team in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project expenditure from the initial stage through to the final settlement of accounts.
• Administer subcontractor agreements, including contract handling and payment processing.
• Track budgets, cash movement, and project profitability throughout execution.
• Prepare and manage variations, claims, and client valuation submissions.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s qualification in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
• The role calls for at least 8 years of experience, with substantial exposure to quantity surveying work.
• Prior use of ERP systems is needed, with SAP considered an advantage.
• Applicants should have solid knowledge of contracts, subcontracting, and commercial management practices.
• Work experience in GCC markets will be viewed favorably.
