About the company
Basetwo offers a low-code AI platform built for manufacturing engineers. The product is designed to help teams diagnose process issues, improve production performance, and cut down on waste.
Using the platform, manufacturing engineers can strengthen their understanding of plant operations, make faster decisions using live data, create dependable data transformation pipelines, and connect data sources that are otherwise isolated.
Role overview
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will contribute to one or more new product initiatives. You will work closely with product and design partners to shape a polished user experience and then implement it in a way that is modular and easy to scale.
Key responsibilities
- Design and ship product capabilities that are intuitive, dependable, and trusted by customers.
- Work across the full technology stack, including AWS, Python, Postgres, React, HTML, and CSS, to build and support complete features end to end.
- Take part in recurring design discussions.
- Create internal tools that streamline workflows and improve team productivity.
- Promote and encourage strong engineering practices across the team.
Requirements
You should enjoy experimenting with current JavaScript frameworks and be open to learning new technologies. This role suits someone who takes initiative, suggests improvements proactively, and communicates ideas clearly. A preference for simple, elegant solutions that create clear user value is important.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on modern full-stack web development.
- Comfort working with both frontend and backend technologies, with interest in JavaScript, React, and Python.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CSS frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and database design, ideally with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar systems.
- Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture.
- Strong ownership mindset, with attention to long-term maintainability and extensibility.
Bonus qualifications
- Prior exposure to AWS.
- Strong proficiency in React and Python.
- Startup-style mindset: collaborative, self-driven, principled, resourceful, and able to deliver under pressure.
