ملازمت کی تفصیل
About the company
30 Sundays is a contemporary travel business focused on helping Indian customers discover, plan, and book international holidays. It was started by leaders from IIT, IIM, and ex-Apple, and the core team brings experience from companies such as Flipkart, Spinny, and OYO. The company is supported by investors including Info Edge and Eximius.
Team and working style
The engineering group is intentionally compact and built around an agentic-first approach. Each engineer is expected to own substantial product and technical scope, use AI tools heavily, and drive systems from design through delivery without multiple management layers in between.
What you will build
- A customer-facing travel discovery and booking product with feeds, search, recommendations, and personalization tailored to Indian travellers.
- Internal productivity systems for sales and operations, including agent workbenches, supplier-facing tools, and operational dashboards that support a lean but scalable business.
Role overview
This position is for an experienced backend engineer who can design services, build APIs, and take end-to-end ownership of system quality, performance, and architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver backend services along with REST APIs.
- Take ownership of data design, including schemas and query performance across SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Troubleshoot issues in production and resolve reliability or performance problems.
- Connect external third-party services and APIs into the platform.
- Help establish architecture practices and technical patterns that others on the team can reuse.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of backend engineering experience with production-grade systems.
- Hands-on depth in Node.js, including work on services that handle substantial traffic.
- Strong understanding of both SQL and NoSQL data stores.
- B.Tech from top IITs, NITs, DTU, NSIT, BITS Pilani, or an equivalent institution.
- Previous experience at a consumer tech or consumer-facing product company.
- Comfort using AI-powered coding tools to improve speed and output.
