Team Leader

Role overview

The Team Leader is part of the store management group and supports the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in running day-to-day retail operations.

Key duties

• Guide, coach, and supervise store associates while providing day-to-day support.
• Oversee merchandising activities, shelf replenishment, and the handling of incoming shipments, including boxing and unboxing.
• Help maintain high standards of customer service across the store.
• Carry out manager-on-duty responsibilities such as managing breaks, time tracking, and attendance.
• Apply and sustain visual merchandising standards throughout the store.
• Respond to customer concerns and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
• Keep the store safe, tidy, and compliant with cleanliness expectations.
• Handle cash-related duties and support store opening and closing procedures when required.
• Take part in inventory activities and assist with employee training.
• Track assigned follow-ups and contribute to hiring and performance management tasks.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in retail.
• Between 1 and 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Motivation to grow and build a long-term career with the company.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Capability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy, high-traffic setting.

The full-time employee benefits mentioned above apply only to full-time staff. Full-time status is reached after working 25 hours per week for 16 consecutive weeks, with one grace week allowed below 25 hours.
