The group operates four businesses rated investment grade, making it the only infrastructure investment-grade issuer in India.Role SummaryThis position is responsible for protecting selected individuals, premises, and assets through field-based security and executive protection duties. The role requires disciplined execution of protection plans, quick response during incidents, and consistent support for safety and security operations.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Executive Protection Officer is expected to carry out protection activities across residences, offices, and other domestic locations while following the directions of the Executive Protection Lead. The role demands strong awareness of surroundings, strict compliance with security procedures, and active participation in preventive and responsive security operations.Apply executive protection plans and operating procedures as directed by the Executive Protection Lead.Stay alert at all times to detect possible threats, risks, or weak points in security coverage.Follow company security policies and operational instructions without deviation.Patrol assigned sites or residences and confirm that all entry and exit points remain secured.Control access to the premises so that only approved individuals are allowed in.Use and monitor CCTV or other surveillance tools to track activity and spot unusual behavior.Maintain routine activity logs and share incident updates or irregularities with the Executive Protection Lead.Support escort movements, travel security, and other protection measures for designated individuals.Be prepared to activate evacuation or emergency safety procedures immediately when required.Share observations and suggestions that could improve security processes or operational effectiveness.Respond swiftly to security breaches, threats, emergencies, or other incidents to reduce risk to people and assets.Coordinate with the wider Executive Protection Team, law enforcement, and emergency responders during critical situations.Prepare detailed post-incident reports covering actions taken, outcomes, and recommended improvements.Help manage scanning, verification of visitors, protection of assets, route checks, crowd handling, and anti-sabotage measures.Participate in contingency, crisis response, and emergency drills and exercises.StakeholdersInternal stakeholders include Executive Protection team members such as agents, officers, drivers, and doctors, along with facility management teams. External stakeholders include law enforcement agencies, local communities, vendors, and service providers.RequirementsHigh school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required; a degree in Criminal Justice or a related field is preferred.Professional certification such as Basic Security Officer Training (BSOT) or an equivalent credential is preferred.At least 5 years of experience in security services, law enforcement, or military roles.Practical exposure to surveillance, patrolling, and emergency response procedures.Strong physical fitness and working knowledge of security tools and protocols.Ability to carry out route reconnaissance, travel security checks, and crowd management tasks.Comfortable working in a high-responsibility environment involving protection of people and assets.Additional InformationThis is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The role involves round-the-clock security coverage through trained professionals, use of security technologies and gadgets for communication and tracking, and support for safe evacuation during high-risk situations. Responsibilities also include contributing to the design of the operating model and SOPs, reviewing travel security arrangements, and strengthening security processes through better technology adoption.Key areas of focus include protection during private and public events, scanning and verification of visitors, safe movement of protected individuals, implementation of crisis response plans, and maintaining effective security cover across all assigned locations.Qualifications and ExperienceApplicants should meet the required educational background and bring substantial hands-on experience in executive protection or related security functions.
