About the Role

This position is crucial for supporting project and operational activities, ensuring the continuous availability and security of multiple services running on the Network and Telecom Infrastructure, which are vital for airport operations 24/7.

Key Responsibilities

Provide round-the-clock technical support for Telecom operations, specifically for Private 4G/5G and Cisco's unified communication and collaboration systems.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for the Telecom infrastructure, including design specifications, configurations, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Lead the planning and design of Telecom and Unified Collaboration Infrastructure, incorporating the latest technological advancements and optimization strategies, which involves conducting site surveys and capacity planning for cellular coverage.
Perform Root Cause Analysis for incidents within Telecom and collaboration technologies, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented according to the change management process.
Actively contribute to the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of private 4G/5G networks at the airport.
Drive service enhancements by identifying and evaluating innovative products and features that can improve capabilities and elevate the customer experience.
Implement and maintain robust security measures for the Telecom and Collaboration infrastructure to safeguard the airport network against unauthorized access and potential threats, with regular updates to security protocols.
Support various Telecom projects, ensuring adherence to established procedures, quality standards, and methodologies to meet targets for quality, cost, business benefits, and project timelines.
Collaborate effectively with external vendors and internal teams involved in both project execution and the operational maintenance of systems to fulfill business needs.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field is required.
A minimum of 5 to 6 years of pertinent professional experience is necessary.
Previous experience working within a large enterprise or for a Telecom Service Provider is essential.
Possession of mandatory CCNP certifications in Unified Communication or 4G/5G, or equivalent, is required.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in the implementation and support of large enterprise private 4G/5G networks and Cisco's unified communication and collaboration infrastructure.
Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities to resolve complex connectivity, interference, and security issues using industry-standard tools.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
A strong understanding of routing, switching, and telecom infrastructure, including Radio Access Networks (RAN), in-building solutions, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Preferred Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of Telecom technologies and practical experience in configuring Telecom Core or Unified Collaboration solutions.
ITIL v3 Foundation certification is advantageous.
