Role overview
i360technologies supports federal agencies with consulting and technology services, and is hiring a Test and Evaluation Analyst to oversee testing for software updates within a client’s Oracle Federal Financials platform. The environment operates as a shared service for multiple agencies and supports approximately 19,000 user accounts. In this position, you will create and run test plans and test cases across every testing stage, confirm that changes satisfy requirements, and identify fixes before issues move into production.
What you will do
- Build and carry out test plans, test cases, and testing procedures to ensure products and services align with client expectations and end-user needs.
- Test software updates across the core system, connected applications, supporting tools, and the standard workstation image, including all testing phases and user acceptance testing.
- Review issues in financial applications, record defects, and propose corrective options for client review before implementation.
- Work closely with functional teams, architects, help desk staff, and program leadership to keep testing aligned with release timelines and requirements.
- Keep test records, scripts, and results organized to support repeatable testing and audit readiness.
- Assist with upgrades and patch releases by checking system outputs, data movements, and release-related activities.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 6 years of experience in testing and evaluation.
- Proven background in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test procedures for enterprise systems.
- Experience identifying defects and recommending remediation approaches.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation and receive client site access.
Preferred experience
- Hands-on testing experience with Oracle Federal Financials, including upgrades such as 12.2 and quarterly patch cycles.
- Exposure to federal financial management environments and shared services operations.
- Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility testing and ServiceNow-based change control.
Security and eligibility
