Role overview
This full-time, on-site utility worker position is based in Jackson, Mississippi and supports the Education segment for Elior Independent School Dining. The role focuses on maintaining sanitation standards, keeping work areas organized, and helping daily operations run smoothly.
What you will do
- Keep floors and dining tables clean and well maintained.
- Refill supplies in the dining area as needed.
- Collect waste and ensure it is discarded correctly.
- Receive incoming inventory and stock it appropriately.
- Wash, sanitize, and maintain dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, the dish room, and related tools and equipment.
What we are looking for
- Comfort with following safe operating practices and using good judgment on the job.
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively to a team.
- Previous background in food service or a maintenance-related position is a plus.
Compensation
The pay rate is $10.85 per hour.
