Role overview
Allied Vehicles is hiring a Valeter for its De-Fleet team in Glasgow. This role focuses on making sure vehicles are cleaned, prepared, and presented to a very high standard. You will remove waste from vehicles, carry out interior and exterior valets, help keep the workshop and valet bays clean, and support smooth vehicle movement across the site.
Working hours and pay
This is a full-time onsite role. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. The pay rate is £13.45 per hour, plus bonus.

Main duties
- Check the job card or estimate to understand what work is required.
- Complete all company paperwork accurately.
- Clean vehicles to company standards using the correct materials.
- Deal with customer-facing situations in a courteous and professional way.
- Take sensible steps to keep vehicles clean and tidy at all times.
- Follow all legal requirements relating to hazardous substances and organic solvents.
What you need
- A full UK driving licence.
- Awareness of safe working methods, including safe handling of cleaning products.
- Experience or understanding of driving and cleaning vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A conscientious and hardworking approach.
- Previous valeting experience is helpful but not essential.
