Key duties

• Check equipment in and out as it arrives for, and leaves from, auction.
• Arrange auction items according to the listing so they are ready for display before sale day.
• Operate both heavy and light equipment as required.
• Carry out facility checks using provided checklists and complete housekeeping or minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Perform simple maintenance on company-owned equipment.
• Control and track equipment keys.
• Use a forklift to move stationary row equipment during loading and unloading.
• Assist with boosting equipment when necessary.
• Carry out basic equipment assembly, such as fitting dozer blades and similar parts.
• Inspect fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
• Apply lot numbers to equipment.
• Set up signage, flags, and waste bins for auction day.
• Drive the sound truck.
• Hold the “This item for sale” sign during auction activities.
• Position operators in rolling stock.
• Park sold equipment on the ramp.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
