Role overview
A RIBA-chartered, multidisciplinary practice with an international footprint is hiring a proactive and skilled Architectural Technologist for its Glasgow studio. The role involves working on high-profile projects across a broad range of building sectors and contributing to projects from early stages through to completion.
What you will do
- Lead and support project delivery from concept stage through to handover.
- Produce building regulation information packages and handle planning submissions.
- Carry out site inspections to help ensure workmanship quality and technical compliance.
- Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and wider project team members.
Candidate profile
- You should hold a degree in Architectural Technology.
- Substantial post-qualification experience gained in a UK practice is required.
- Advanced Revit skills are essential.
- Experience running projects independently from start to finish is needed.
- Previous job-running experience is important.
- Strong ability in technical detailing is expected.
- You should have a solid understanding of UK building regulations.
- Clear communication and strong organisational abilities are necessary.
- You must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Glasgow.
