Role Overview
In this position, you will support the manufacturing logistics and supply chain function so medicines and patient treatments are moved and delivered on time. The work is centered on keeping materials, finished products, and warehouse operations running efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute individually to team goals and work closely with colleagues to deliver assigned outcomes.
- Plan and manage your own work in a timely manner, take ownership of results, and steadily build your professional capability.
- Carry out tasks using established procedures across different levels of complexity, and help investigate and resolve process-related issues.
- Apply prior knowledge to support the team and project delivery, with periodic review of work to confirm sound technical judgment.
- Handle moderately routine problems in a structured setting and make decisions within a limited range of options.
- Complete assigned work with moderate supervision, following standard methods and escalating deviations from normal procedures to the supervisor.
- Move materials and finished goods across the plant, office, or warehouse using equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, hand carts, and power trucks.
- Help identify ways to improve delivery, processing speed, and quality, and choose suitable methods and procedures for different work situations.
- Follow all standard operating procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices, plant safety rules, quality standards, and documentation needs.
- Take part in audits and help ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulatory requirements for facilities and processes.
- Support hi-rise operations by resolving issues, applying warehousing knowledge, and completing records through a computerized inventory system.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, along with at least 2 years of experience.
- Ability to prepare documentation related to inventory movement.
- Strong understanding of information management practices and a working knowledge of related partner disciplines.
- Ability to read, understand, and respond to oral and written instructions and facility documents.
- Capability to operate different types of motorized forklifts.
- Clear and proactive communication across shifts and with different teams.
- Advanced computer and digital skills, including Excel, Word, Microsoft Dynamics, Visio, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in warehousing for SPM and SFG.
- Relevant certification in the assigned area, if applicable.
- Prior warehousing experience.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work settings.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage several tasks at once.
- Familiarity with basic AI tools and interest in learning how they can improve productivity.
