About Atomic Coffee Roasters
Atomic is a bold, high-energy coffee brand built around a relentless focus on quality. From the Kingsland roastery in Auckland, the team creates specialty blends that serve leading cafés and passionate coffee drinkers across New Zealand.
Working here means being part of a culture where coffee is more than a product — it is a shared craft. The environment is fast-moving, evolving, and deeply enthusiastic, with a close-knit team that thrives on variety and pace.
Why this role exists
The Brand Coordinator will support the GM of Atomic and the wider marketing team in delivering the brand’s day-to-day marketing activity. This is a broad, practical role with exposure across the full marketing function, including social media, café marketing support, events and activations, internal communications, and website content ownership.
This opportunity is suited to someone who wants to build hands-on experience while helping strengthen and grow Atomic’s brand presence.
What you will do
- Coordinate and support daily brand and marketing activity across the business.
- Manage and maintain Atomic’s social media channels.
- Assist with marketing initiatives for cafés.
- Help plan and deliver events and activations.
- Contribute to internal communications.
- Own and update content for the Atomic website.
- Work closely with the GM of Atomic and the broader marketing team to keep projects aligned with brand goals.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate is someone who can see the bigger picture, connect different pieces of work, and keep activity aligned with long-term goals. You should bring both a commercial mindset and a creative outlook, along with the confidence to put forward new ideas and move projects ahead.
Experience of at least 2 years in brand coordination, marketing, or a related field is preferred, with a strong emphasis on social media management. Confidence in communication, the ability to manage several priorities at once, and a quick ability to adapt are important for success in this role.
Skills in Photoshop or InDesign would be an advantage, and an interest in photography is highly regarded.
What’s on offer
- The chance to work in a well-established coffee business with both stability and agility.
- Exposure to the world of specialty coffee and the heritage behind the brand.
- A flexible working environment that supports both work and personal growth.
- Career progression opportunities and a strong focus on wellbeing.
- Five extra days of recharge leave each year for rest and recovery.
- Coffee on tap and beans to take home.
