Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Role overview

Precise Analytics LLC is hiring a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer in Richmond, Virginia for a full-time, on-site position. The role focuses on turning data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders in both government and commercial environments.

What you will do

You will create, refine, and support BI dashboards and data models that help decision-makers track performance and understand business trends. The position also involves building reliable data pipelines and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify the right KPIs and reporting needs.

• Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Build and maintain ETL processes and SQL queries to move and prepare data.
• Partner with stakeholders to define meaningful KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Help maintain data governance standards and preserve data integrity.

Required background

Candidates should bring at least 3 years of BI experience, along with strong hands-on knowledge of SQL and either Power BI or Tableau. A solid understanding of data warehouse architecture is expected, as well as familiarity with metadata concepts and data quality frameworks.
