Role overview

This position is based in the Townsville branch and centres on accurate and secure handling of cash and valuables. The work involves receiving cash and valuables from clients, counting them, and preparing them through sorting and packaging for onward delivery.

Key duties

• Process cash and other valuables efficiently and securely.
• Keep precise records of cash processing activity.
• Spot any differences and escalate them appropriately.
• Adhere to strict security controls and operational guidelines.
• Work in line with all Armaguard safety requirements.

What you bring

The ideal person is careful, dependable, and comfortable working with money and numbers. Experience from banking, retail, or other customer-facing and cash-handling environments is helpful, but a willingness to learn is just as important. Strong communication, a collaborative approach, and high attention to detail are essential.
