Responsibilities
- Handle register transactions accurately
- Accept cash, cheques, and card payments
- Scan products during checkout
- Compute the final amount due for purchases or services
- Balance cash taken in during a shift against sales totals
- Replenish shelves and keep the checkout area tidy
- Welcome customers and respond to their needs
- Bag or wrap purchased items
- Deliver helpful and courteous customer service
