Role overview
Inizio Engage partners with a major biotechnology company across commercial, patient solutions, and medical affairs functions. The organization is hiring a Clinical Educator to provide educational support to targeted healthcare professionals and office teams in primary care and specialist settings focused on a specific disease state. The role centers on delivering disease-state education using approved materials, while staying aligned with program standards, compliance expectations, and guidance from both Inizio leadership and the client.
What you’ll do
- Deliver detailed clinical education on the disease state and associated management approaches to healthcare providers.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key customers and stakeholders through educational engagements using approved resources.
- Follow all legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in every material shared, discussion held, and activity completed.
- Operate within the client-defined boundaries while coordinating with field counterparts.
- Complete all required Inizio and client training courses, along with competency assessments, within the required time limits.
- Keep accurate daily records of office interactions and complete all mandatory reporting.
- Track time and expenses in the designated Inizio systems.
- Maintain any required professional registration and/or state licensure.
- Attend local and national meetings or conferences requested by the client or Inizio to stay current and share best practices.
- Care for company and client equipment and materials according to instructions.
- Ensure all work follows company policy, the code of conduct, and applicable external industry regulations.
- Remain reachable during working hours to answer questions and carry out duties.
- Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license at all times and notify Inizio immediately of any offenses or accumulated penalty points.
- Manage the assigned territory effectively and travel as needed, including overnight travel.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
- Note: Clinical Educators do not provide nursing services, medical advice, treatment advice, or promotion of pharmacological products.

Requirements
- Licensed healthcare professional with an active state license; Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse is preferred.
- Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, BSN, or an equivalent amount of job-related experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a specific disease state or a closely related area; respiratory experience is preferred.
- Prior background in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry as a clinical educator or in sales is preferred.
- Strong professional communication and presentation abilities.
- Comfort presenting to physicians and a range of office staff members.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
- Proven ability to balance multiple responsibilities and territory priorities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to maintaining clinical knowledge.
- Willing to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays, and able to reside within the assigned territory.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds and using standard office equipment.
