Job Overview
As a Commis I at Hilton Salwa in Qatar, you will play an active role in preparing quality food and creating a welcoming dining experience for guests. The position focuses on accurate food preparation, strong station management, and consistent adherence to hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items in line with the assigned recipes and required quality benchmarks.
- Handle guest orders efficiently while contributing to a smooth and pleasant dining experience.
- Work confidently with more advanced recipes, maintain awareness of the menu, and support station operations, quality checks, and inventory verification.
- Review dishes before service to confirm they meet presentation and quality expectations.
- Keep food preparation areas organized, stocked, and hygienic while following correct food handling, storage, and safety practices.
- Raise requisitions for ingredients and supplies whenever additional stock is needed.
- Follow all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness rules to protect guest and team wellbeing.
