Role overview
This opportunity is with a partner organization that will handle applications and all subsequent hiring steps. They are seeking an Australia-based Content Marketer to join a fast-moving fintech business where content, storytelling, and demand generation work together.
The role focuses on producing and sharing compelling content that makes complicated payments topics easy to understand and engaging for target audiences. You will partner closely with marketing and demand generation teams so the content contributes to awareness, engagement, and commercial results.
As part of this position, you will manage content across a range of formats, including long-form pieces, campaigns, newsletters, and social media materials. You will also use data, testing, and audience insights to improve content results and support growth.
In addition, you will help shape go-to-market content plans that support launches and wider marketing efforts. This is a highly independent role within a remote-first team, so ownership, creativity, and fast execution are important.
Key responsibilities
- Help oversee the content schedule and make sure materials are delivered on time, meet quality expectations, and align with business and marketing goals.
- Research, draft, and publish content in several formats such as blogs, guides, case studies, newsletters, social posts, and campaign collateral.
- Turn technical fintech and payments topics into clear, human, and audience-friendly stories.
- Build and execute content plans for launches and campaigns alongside the demand generation team.
- Adapt and distribute content through channels including LinkedIn, email, and other digital platforms to broaden reach and impact.
- Review content performance using data and audience feedback, then refine strategy to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Test new content formats, messaging angles, and distribution methods to improve effectiveness over time.
- Use AI tools and automation to increase the speed, quality, and scale of content creation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of content marketing experience in fast-paced B2B or B2C technology environments.
- Strong editorial judgment and the ability to make complex technical or financial topics easy to understand.
- A proven track record of moving content from concept to publication with strong ownership and little oversight.
- Good understanding of how content supports audience growth, demand generation, and business performance.
- Experience using performance metrics, experiments, and audience insights to improve content strategy.
- Comfort working in agile, high-performing teams with changing priorities and broad responsibilities.
- Strong interest in and practical experience with AI tools for content production and marketing automation.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adjust tone for different formats and channels.
- Bonus points for fintech, payments, or technical B2B experience.
- Bonus points for experience editing video or audio content.
- A collaborative approach and openness to feedback and iteration.
Benefits
- Fully remote, international-first work setup.
- Competitive share options.
- At least 25 days of annual leave, with an uncapped holiday policy.
- Access to co-working spaces in major cities around the world.
- Opportunities for workations and annual company retreats.
- Home office setup allowance.
- Substantial budget for learning and professional development.
- Private medical insurance.
- A high-impact role within a rapidly growing fintech scale-up.
- A culture built around ownership, autonomy, and career growth.
