Role Overview
This Contract Administrator position is central to the delivery of a major high-rise build in Newstead, Queensland. You will oversee procurement, trade engagement, contract discussions, cost tracking, variation management, and the financial performance of the project. The role offers close collaboration with the Project Manager and site team, giving you broad involvement across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for the project.
- Coordinate and let trade packages.
- Handle contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain cost reports.
- Assess and process project variations.
- Support the financial outcomes of the build.
- Work alongside the Project Manager and site team throughout delivery.
- Contribute across all stages of the project from start through completion.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background as a Contract Administrator in commercial or high-rise construction.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts and project cost control.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple work packages and perform under tight timelines.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a closely related discipline.
