Role overview
This is a full-time Creative Artworker position in York, offering 37.5 hours per week. The role is based onsite four days a week in the Hudson Quarter office, located opposite the station. The workspace is designed to encourage collaboration and teamwork, with coffee available on tap and a balcony for sunny days.
As part of the design team, you will help produce and deliver marketing materials to a high standard. The role suits someone who enjoys hands-on execution, can translate established design ideas into finished assets, and takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment. Work will range from preparing a brochure page for print to sourcing the right image for a Swiss mountain train.
What you'll do
- Adapt headers, banners, and other graphic elements for email marketing and web campaigns that run on a busy schedule.
- Create static and straightforward video content for the website and for paid and organic social media activity, including Facebook, Instagram, Stories, Feed, and Reels formats.
- Support brochure production by working with other designers on layout and artwork across a large portfolio of publications.
- Prepare accurate, print-ready direct mail materials, ranging from postcards to multi-page mailers, for external suppliers.
- Find strong, brand-appropriate photographs from stock libraries and internal image collections for use across brochures and the website.
- Resize and format images so they perform well in both printed and digital channels.
- Design clear and attractive maps that accurately show tour routes.
- Update existing maps to reflect changes or itinerary revisions.
Tools and experience needed
The role requires advanced ability in InDesign, with at least 3 years of experience using it professionally. You should also have a strong working knowledge of Photoshop and a solid working knowledge of Illustrator. Experience with Premiere Pro or After Effects is desirable, and basic to intermediate capability in those tools would be considered an advantage.

Salary
The salary offered is up to £35,000 depending on experience.
