Role Summary
The Data Analyst II role is a mid-level analytics position for someone who already has a solid foundation in data analysis and is ready to work with increasing independence. The job centers on executing analytical work, creating and supporting dashboards and reports, and partnering with stakeholders to turn business questions into practical, data-backed recommendations.
- Develops within a mid-level role and works with moderate guidance from senior teammates.
- Uses SQL and Tableau regularly and is expected to continue strengthening technical depth.
- Supports business decisions by translating data into clear insights and actions.
What You Will Do
- Study business challenges and opportunities and convert findings into useful recommendations.
- Work with stakeholders to define, document, and refine analytics and reporting needs.
- Help build, maintain, and launch dashboards, reports, and other data solutions.
- Partner across teams to understand information needs and explain results in a clear way.
- Carry out ad hoc analysis to answer questions about business performance.
- Prepare concise reports and analytical summaries for review by teams and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Advanced SQL capability, including the ability to independently write complex queries.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- About 3 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or similar work.
- Comfort with learning new tools, technologies, and analytical approaches.
- Experience with Tableau or a similar visualization platform, including dashboard building.
- Exposure to data transformation tools such as dbt is helpful but not mandatory.
- Background in marketing and sales analytics is preferred, and media or attribution experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- A curious, detail-focused mindset with interest in growing technical and analytical capabilities over time.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This is mainly an office-based desk role, but it also involves on-site movement around homes, model units, and properties. The position requires the ability to use computer equipment, communicate verbally and audibly, bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, walk, stand, and climb stairs. The role may involve handling up to 25 lbs and requires finger dexterity.

Compensation and Benefits
The expected base pay range for this role is $95,400 to $119,200 per year, subject to change based on qualifications, location-based pay differences, and operational factors. The position may also qualify for bonuses and commissions. Eligible employees receive the benefits described in company policy.
