Role Overview
The District Manager is responsible for day-to-day route activity, delivery quality, customer experience, and the performance of service team members. This position reports to the Service Manager and is focused on keeping operations efficient, compliant, and service-driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the daily delivery and service route execution so customers receive accurate and efficient service.
- Organize route timing, territory assignment, and workload balance to improve productivity.
- Support, coach, and develop drivers and service staff to strengthen performance and accountability.
- Handle customer escalations, service concerns, and delivery-related issues with a strong service mindset.
- Maintain adherence to company safety rules, DOT requirements where relevant, and all operational procedures.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in route operations, delivery oversight, transportation, service management, or logistics leadership.
- At least 1 year of direct supervisory or people-management experience.
- Strong background in communication, customer service, and conflict resolution.
- Valid driver’s license required, along with a driving history free of chargeable accidents, speeding violations, safety violations, or other reportable offenses.
- Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
Work Environment
- The role involves driving on public roads and working at customer locations, loading areas, a typical industrial laundry facility, service center, or depot.
- Frequent travel within the branch territory to customer sites is required.
- The job requires the ability to identify colors, sizes, and product types, as well as accurately count, add, and subtract.
Compensation
This is an exempt position with an annual base salary of $72,000 to $75,000.
