The door person serves as the first point of contact at the entrance, creating a polished and welcoming experience for residents, guests, and visitors. The role combines hospitality, access control, and light support duties to help maintain a safe, orderly, and professional front-of-house environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive residents, guests, and visitors with a warm, courteous, and professional approach.
• Hold doors open and assist with luggage, parcels, and deliveries when required.
• Observe movement in and out of the property to support access control and security procedures.
• Keep accurate records of visitors, deliveries, and service staff as needed.
• Liaise with concierge, security, or building management about resident requests or any unusual concerns.
• Arrange taxis or ride services and help with directions when asked.
• Answer basic questions and share information about property services or facilities.
• Maintain a tidy, organized, and presentable lobby and entrance area.
• Act promptly in emergencies or incidents and complete reporting through the proper channels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous background in customer service, hospitality, or security is an advantage.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-groomed appearance with a professional, courteous manner.
• Ability to stay attentive, composed, and polite in a busy or high-pressure setting.
• Physical capability to remain standing for long periods and lift light items when needed.
