An established environmental consultancy is seeking an Ecologist to join and grow its ecology team in Northampton. What the Role Involves

In this position, you will support ecological projects from the early fieldwork stages through to report writing and communication with clients. The work will expose you to a varied portfolio while helping customers manage ecological constraints and planning obligations.

Requirements

• Experience gained in ecological consultancy or a comparable ecology-focused position
• Confidence in completing habitat surveys and preparing accurate technical reports
• Working knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning-related policy
• Either a current CIEEM membership or active progress toward membership
• Full UK driving licence
• Legal entitlement to work in the UK without restriction
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of the Northampton office
