Job Description
This role involves owning and governing the end-to-end Data Lakehouse architecture, ensuring seamless integration across data ingestion, storage, processing, consumption, and governance. The architect will define and validate the target Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) in line with enterprise principles and ensure robust patterns for various data processing needs. Key responsibilities include ensuring architectural consistency across platforms like Cloudera Data Platform, Teradata, Informatica, and Denodo, reviewing and approving designs, and performing architectural assessments for Phase 1 deliverables. The role also requires governing the implementation of data models (FSLDM, FSAS), ensuring alignment with national data management standards (NDMO, NDI), and adhering to data classification, privacy, and security policies. Additionally, the architect will define patterns for high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery, and guide performance tuning strategies. This position requires acting as the primary architectural liaison with internal IT, Data Governance, Security, and Business teams, participating in review boards, and effectively communicating architectural decisions to senior management.
