Role overview
As an Estimator, you will work from either Rainham (RM13 8HY) or Branston (DE14 3PD). The role is full-time and permanent, with a 40-hour work week. A hybrid working pattern may be discussed.
What you'll be doing
- Using the organisation’s in-house CRM platform to manage quoting activity
- Handling customer communication by phone and email
- Producing quotations every day for prospective, new, and existing clients
- Reviewing customer-supplied information to fully understand project needs
- Obtaining pricing from manufacturers and suppliers while checking product fit, compatibility, and stock availability to meet tight timelines
- Guiding customers on suitable products, pricing, and expected lead times
- Working with internal and external teams to progress enquiries into quotations and then into confirmed orders
- Meeting deadlines consistently to support customer expectations
- Keeping product knowledge current and staying informed about market trends
