Event Planner

Role overview

Willow Lane Events is seeking an experienced Event Planner to strengthen the team through a busy season. The position works closely with the Director and involves coordinating memorable weddings and corporate functions from the earliest ideas through to final delivery.

This is a practical, hands-on events position where creativity, initiative, and a proactive approach will directly contribute to the success of each event.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate weddings and corporate events from concept development to on-site execution.
• Work in partnership with the Director to deliver high-quality events.
• Contribute ideas and take initiative to improve event planning and delivery.
• Support the smooth running of events throughout the busy summer period.
• Be available for regular weekend work as required during peak season.

Work arrangement and terms

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Papakura, Auckland, New Zealand. The role is fixed term through to the end of April 2027, with a possibility of extension. Flexibility is important, as the role includes regular weekend work during the busy summer season.

What we are looking for

An experienced event professional who can manage end-to-end event delivery, bring strong ideas to the table, and stay organised in a fast-paced environment. Previous hands-on experience in planning and delivering events is important for success in this position.
