Role Purpose

This position supports the Facilities Engineer or Facilities Manager in the smooth running of daily facilities activities across assigned properties. The role is responsible for coordinating maintenance work, handling site issues, supervising technicians and external vendors, ensuring tasks are completed on time, and maintaining strong standards of safety, service quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hard and soft facilities management work across assigned properties, covering electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep.
• Liaise with annual maintenance contractors and other service providers for planned and emergency maintenance activities.
• Track and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC units, pumps, water systems, elevators, gym equipment, swimming pools, landscaping, pest control, and other assets.
• Assist the Facilities Engineer / Facilities Manager in operations across all allocated sites and handle client needs professionally.
• Respond to maintenance complaints and ensure urgent issues are resolved promptly.
• Carry out routine inspections to spot maintenance gaps and property conditions that need attention.
• Make sure all assigned buildings and service areas remain in proper working order and good condition.
• Address maintenance faults directly whenever required.
• Direct technicians and check that work quality meets expected standards.
• Track repeated faults, determine likely causes, and suggest corrective actions.
• Follow up with vendors and contractors so responses and completion times stay on track.
• Minimize disruption to residents or occupants while work is being performed.
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE requirements, including proper PPE use and safe working practices by subcontractors.
• Escalate unsafe conditions, damage, leaks, electrical risks, and any compliance concerns without delay.
• Assist with material verification, procurement support, and stock control.
• Keep maintenance logs, service records, quotations, approvals, and checklists organized and up to date.

Requirements

• A Diploma or ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
• 6 to 8 years of UAE experience in facilities management is required.
• Recent or current experience must be in a Facilities Supervisor or FM Supervisor role.
• Experience with luxury, high-end properties and villas is preferred.
• Strong practical experience in electrical and plumbing maintenance is essential.
• Candidate should be comfortable managing technicians, contractors, and service teams.
• Good command of English and Hindi is needed.
• Administrative ability in emails, reporting, scheduling, and documentation is important.
• Must be able to work under pressure and handle urgent maintenance situations.
• Should have strong follow-up ability, sound attention to detail, and familiarity with UAE safety practices and FM standards.
