Role Overview
Burjline Builders is looking for a seasoned Facility Coordinator – Operations to manage facilities management delivery in a school setting in Qatar. The role focuses on keeping hard and soft FM services running smoothly, maintaining operational standards, supporting compliance, and ensuring strong coordination with contractors and clients.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of hard and soft facilities management services.
- Coordinate maintenance, housekeeping, security, pest control, landscaping, and waste management activities.
- Organize preventive and corrective maintenance work while keeping safety, quality, and compliance requirements in check.
- Manage contractor performance and support effective supervision of outsourced service providers.
- Work closely with clients to maintain service quality and support positive working relationships.
- Handle budgeting, cost control, and contract-related coordination for FM operations.
- Prepare operational updates, service reviews, and maintenance records and documentation.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in facilities management is required.
- At least 3 of those years must have been gained in the GCC.
- A bachelor’s degree in any related discipline is needed.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, MEP, electrical systems, building maintenance, and asset management is essential.
- Hands-on experience with both hard and soft FM services is expected.
- Background in client liaison, contractor oversight, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration is important.
- Prior exposure to educational facilities or similar environments will be an advantage.
- A valid Qatar driving licence is mandatory.
- Professional credentials such as IFMA, RICS, IWFM/BIFM, IMechE, IET, CIBSE, ICE, or equivalent are preferred.
Additional Information
This position is based in Doha, Qatar and is a full-time, on-site role.
